Funny Story..

(this is Matt writing)....Jamie and I were playing catch with a Tennis ball in the living room. I threw one that might of bounced off the wall and hit Jamie in the back. Jamie pretended like she was hurt...Hayden, being the kind thoughtful boy that he is, ran over to his mom to ask what was wrong. She said that daddy threw the ball at me. Hayden ran over and fell on my head (I was laying on the ground) he got me in a headlock and and said...daddy time out alright. It made Jamie and I laugh. A really neat part of the story for me is....our little boy Hayden never sticks up for himself. If another child takes a toy, he just lets them have the toy or cries. I can remember specific instances where he has stood up for everyone of his family members (Jamie, Jake and myself). He is one of the most caring little boys that you can imagine.

Thanks for sharing such a great story! I just love seeing little ones get defensive and protective of their family members. Brings out an inner strength no one thought possible.

That's my boy, so kind and stand backish when he is assaulted--but don't mess with his family. Way to go!
